Hello,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I am attempting to annotate a small section of an arthropod genome. I ran Maker on the command line and the results showed only repetitive regions recognized by Repeat Masker -- no predicted ORFs. I submitted my scaffold through the web interface and got
the same results.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I know that there are genes present on this scaffold and when I run it through Augustus there are 13 ORFs predicted.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Are there some options that I need to adjust to get <i>ab initio</i> gene predictions from Maker?</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Thank you,</div>
