Hi Christian,
If you restart maker on the same output directory, maker will start from where it left off and continue. You can also speed up your maker run by using it's MPI parallelization capabilities or by running multiple maker instances on the same output directory.

I am trying to annotate some insect genomes using MAKER. MAKER is running in a system that uses a PBS scheduler and has a walltime of 120 hours. So , my jobs are running out of time and are killed before MAKER finishes the annotation. Is there a way to resume a killed MAKER run?
