[maker-devel] Assistance for MAKER with openMPI

Dear Maker development team,

I have already installed MAKER and the pipeline seems to work perfectly.
Nevertheless, I have a problem with open MPI settings.

When I try to run maker with mpi I receive this message:
[edoardoscali at ln001 example_01_basic]$ mpirun -n 4
/global/scratch/users/edoardoscali/MAKER/bin/maker
** WARNING: You have not configured MAKER to run under MPI.
** Yet you are attempting to do so!!
**
** You need to configure MAKER by executing -->
**     perl /global/scratch/users/edoardoscali/MAKER/bin/../src/Build.PL
** Then run -->
**     /global/scratch/users/edoardoscali/MAKER/bin/../src/Build install

I tried to follow the instruction contained in this error message and I go
the following error:
[edoardoscali at ln001 src]$ *perl Build.PL *



*WARNING: the following files are missing in your kit:
lib/Parallel/Application/MPI.pmPlease inform the author.*

MAKER supports distributed parallelization via MPI.
Would you like to configure MAKER for MPI (This
requires that you have an MPI client installed)?

Do you know how I can fix this issue?
